REDLOUD Fixie 28 inch FA.01 white unisex single speed

The idea of a fixie is simple: if there's nothing on it, nothing can break. But that doesn't mean we're throwing a pile of metal at your feet – our REDLOUD Fixie is a real gem.
Take a look at the flawless finish of the frame: do you see a weld seam? It's crafted so perfectly and looks so elegant that even some experts believe they're looking at a carbon fixie.

On top of that, there's the clean frame geometry and the purist look thanks to the absence of components like gears, suspension fork, etc. The REDLOUD Fixie looks like it was made from a single mold…
And about “nothing on it”: ours comes with tires that have cult status – the THICKSLICK by WTB. As a slick, it’s fast, but it also pulls off the trick of delivering great grip on the road, smooth ride quality, and exceptional durability.
And yes, these tires look seriously cool!
We’ve equipped the bike with the Z510 branded chain from KMC – a special fixie chain that's light and long-lasting.
The 600 mm wide riser bar provides a sporty but not overly aggressive riding position, and the 46/16 gear ratio (chainring/sprocket) strikes a perfect balance between speed and control.
Of course, we’ve strayed from the strictly purist fixie philosophy that says: no brakes, just skid to a stop. That can lead to some acrobatics with uncertain outcomes. So we’ve fitted two rim brakes – which you’ll need anyway in freewheel mode.
Even with brakes, the REDLOUD aluminum fixie is incredibly light: just 10 kg. Perfect for carrying it to your balcony parking spot every day…

Oh, and speaking of fixies: thanks to the flip-flop hub, you can ride this bike in freewheel mode (a.k.a. singlespeed) or go classic fixie – where the rider moves the crank and the crank moves the rider. Some say this creates a fusion of human and bike. Try the adventure!
