One look and you notice: our youth mountain bike JA.01 is something special.
And that’s certainly first due to the sharply sloping top tube. This SLOPE frame not only looks extremely sporty – it also has an important function: kids can switch to the next bike size even earlier. Because of the low top tube, when dismounting the saddle – e.g. at a traffic light – they stand significantly higher over the tube than with other frame shapes.
Taking a closer look at the bike, you quickly find the second reason for its perfect look:
You can’t see any weld seams. These have been magically removed through a very elaborate and precision-demanding process. Even experts often run their hands gently over the frame or tap it, thinking it’s a carbon frame.
Even the angular flat top tube “smells” like a carbon frame…
And the clean look of the frame is further enhanced by the cables being integrated into the frame.
With the same care we put into producing this frame, we also selected components to give juniors a true mountain bike feeling off the roads:
- The SHIMANO Altus derailleur with 8 gears.
- The Shimano Rapidfire Plus shifter for easy and precise shifting.
- The lightweight Suntour suspension fork with adjustable preload.
- The 2.1" (54 mm) wide tires are real mountain bike tires.
Due to the frame geometry, the JA.01 is suitable from an inseam length of 58 cm, so possibly already from 7 years old or a height of 128 cm. But please measure your junior’s inseam precisely.
